It's about 3 years old, but the previous build wasn't very heavily used. You can use a motherboard monitoring tool to keep an eye on this on a ongoing basis from Windows.posted by Mr. Little bit desperate at the time. If you don't know what the settings are for your sticks just find your RAM on Newegg or something and the voltage, timings, and speed should all be there. I'm seriously starting to suspect the SSD. This is a new build with a couple of older components. I'll wait for the new compound and cleaning kit comes in before I touch it again, so I can properly prepare the surfaces. It wasn't because of heat or overclocks so it didn't leave much else besides the board.

I had a motherboard a couple years ago that would do the same thing. It lists Temp1, Temp2, Temp3 and Core. Google told me this was often memory related, so I switched my RAM to slots A2/B2 (which I note is the recommended configuration for 2 sticks).
If there is only one ide device on the cable, it should be at the end, and jumpered master.
If you just built it you should be able to get it swapped out easily since you'd be within 30-days. I suspect it's a heating issue. I'll try resetting the BIOS when I get home from work and will also uninstall AI Suite to be sure. The BSOD he posted has memory addresses, but that's only a hint, never a sure indicator.
What is the make and model of your old PSU? Helushune5 years agoWe really need the STOP code it's spitting out in order to start diagnosing this. You could diagnose it for hours and not get anywhere - or find the culprit and have it be something you can't address yourself anyway.
