I have set up an SSID & WPA password but on the Router Status page it lists Wireless AP: OFF Broadcast Name: OFF I have then found the place that seems i guess i may have to reset settings, which is a pain and i hope it doeasnt happen again. 2nd, i have a wireless network/router, but cannot afford one of those After entering 192.168.1.1 into IE, IE appears to connect and is waiting for the router to respond. Do I need to call NetGear to get the user ID and password that he probably set up? have a peek at this web-site

Verizon walked me thru the Bridge Mode, but NetGear found the issue of the DHCP no being disabled. My quess is wireless but I would appreciate your notions. It is 192.168.1.1 unless you have changed it. I opened the XP hosts file, and did a manual insert there.
I've hooked my computer back up to the router the phone company gave me it works. It would be best to reset it and start from beginning. When I try to do the computer IP address, or the routerlogin.com, I get the same error message as the blocked website. The advisor shows my networked devices clear back to the internet and claims there are no problems.

Please help! Unfortunately, the Netgear product paradigm is to use ‘admin’ as the username for all products and only secure the device with a password. The panel proposes to set a trigger rule but I'm not sure how to deal with that (and whatever I tried, it did not work).
