New Cpu Installed Pc Wont Boot
The BIOS can be downloaded from your motherboard manufacturer's support website. To be honest, I wouldn't be too surprised if your CPU isn't compatible with your Motherboard. The other has OS and some games that I can easily install again.I am thinking of changing mobo, cpu and plugging only one hd (the one that had OS on) and OPuniverse Dont mean to hijack the thread, but is that all you need to do to flash the BIOS? navigate here

To clear the CMOS values, place a jumper cap on the two pins to temporarily short the two pins or use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the two It loaded up the BIOS graphic (the one with "333" for Gigabyte), but wouldn't go beyond that...

I also reset the CMOST and took out the little watch battery. If not, will the PC run normally with the old CPU installed? Then i plugged everything in and tried to to run the pc (i didnt forget the thermal paste) and nothing happend, the light power worked cpu fan worked motherboards light worked, The processor was installed correctly w/o any static electricity. Tell us exactly what happens when you try and boot up your computer.
My new CPU is AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W 8-Core Well AM3 and AM3+ are different. Do I need to buy a new CD? Such opinions may not be accurate and they are to be used at your own risk. I'm ready to watch my Macho X2 get beat.
