If you’re not sure, and there’s no power indicator on the battery itself, then remove it entirely and just use the mains charger. I downloaded a Memory Test Image, but it locked up each time during the test. I had also my computer not giving any sign of post or booting even though the fans, power supply etc were running.
Remove the VGA card and clean with the eraser and place back in position properly.
