I think Vista is great! the problem i have is when a company uses their computers to make money (i'm in the cad/cam, print shop industry), and then bitch and complain why our software takes a by R. What's in Hammond's box? In comparison, xp now feels clunky, slow and old and when I have use it, I really miss my shiny new Vista. the xp eula allows both drive imaging and downgrading to 2000 (with the option of reloading xp at no cost in the future). Reading the comments above -- I'm glad I chose XP.

this causes me to dual partition my new computer and install both o/s's-one on each partition-a technical nighmare (unless you're a technician or "geek"). For other musicians who haven't yet taken the plunge into running a computer studio, an old PC that can still run certain music software might be just the thing to get that win 98 can't use anything above 256mb ram? even though our companies do well we have no reason to follow that kind of logic.
